Fekkai COIFF As the hair guru behind a number of Fashion Week's designer shows, Frédéric Fekkai knows first-hand that your hair can be one of your most important-and versatile-accessories. To help inspire creative accompaniments to new fall looks, Fekkai has launched a new line of styling products designed to be long-lasting, fashion-forward and easy-to-use.In stores this month, the COIFF line includes eight multi-functional stylers that help take hair from polished to artfully undone. The products-all of which include Fekkai's exclusive All Day Style-Memory Complex technology-were created in sheer, ultra-lightweight formulas that can be worn alone or layered without fear of buildup; key ingredients include Hibiscus protein to strengthen and condition; Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5) for deep penetrating conditioning; and rice and jojoba proteins to restore and maintain hair's natural moisture balance. Except for the hair spray, all items are infused with a light tea-and-violet-leaves scent, and contain extracts of sunflower and moringa seeds to provide broad spectrum UV and environmental protection. Suitable for all hair types, the line is separated into three categories: Pre-Style, Style and Finish. Pre-Style includes Défense Pre-Style Thermal/UV Protectant, a heat-activated leave-in conditioner that helps prevent damage from thermal styling, protects against UV rays, and works to detangle. When applied on damp hair, the sheer Perfecteur Anti-Frizz Silkening Crème helps to dehumidify and defrizz, leaving locks smooth and shiny. For styling, the Contrôle Ironless Straightening Balm uses special featherweight silicones to tame frizz and flyaways, and give hair a salon-straightened look without the use of chemicals or flatirons. For more of a lift, the Bouffant Lifting & Texturizing Spray Gel adds height with an alcohol-free formula, while the Oceanique Tousled Wave Spray helps create and rejuvenate loose curls, minus any stickiness. Once styles are created, the soufflé-like Magnifique Ultra-Light Finishing Crème adds definition without weight; the Nonchalant Piecing & Forming Wax gives touchable texture and helps get that coveted "second-day hair" look; and the Fini Sheer Hold® Hairspray uses avocado oil and wheat protein to keep hair in place. Starting in September 2007, the Fekkai COIFF line will be available nationwide at Frédéric Fekkai Salons, Neiman Marcus, Sephora and Sephora.com, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, C.O. Bigelow and other select beauty retailers.
